This month I joined a fun group called MMTB, which is an acronym for Movie Making Throughout the Bay. MMTB supports the efforts of film-makers, performers and industry professionals throughout the Bay Area by providing a collaborative, supportive and fun environment for them to create, connect and succeed. In a nutshell, a group of Bay Area film enthusiasts meet once a month to write, act and create a short film in one day. After the films are edited and turned into MMTB, the films are viewed at the following MMTB meeting and voted on by all of the meeting participants. The top three films are awarded ribbons. The following film is the end result of our group's short film, which coincidentally won 1st place:
